Kids Art Camp
2 to 5 day Art focused Summer Camp
Spring/Summer Art Camp is for kids ages 8 yrs - high school who are interested in immersing themselves in art! Various art forms, techniques and themes are explored. Each camp designed with the interests of the participating campers in mind. Campers may join the two day camp with the option of continuing on a daily basis. There is a 2 day minimum. I typically host a spring and a summer camp each year. I work with interested families to set camp dates.
YOUNG at ART

Introduction to Drawing: In this one day class we will explore drawing materials while we practice different drawing techniques. All supplies included $100.00 10:00 - 3:00 bring a bag lunch 1 day, meets once. email me to register
Introduction to Painting: In this one day class we will practice a variety of painting techniques using water-media materials while we explore painting together. All supplies included $100.00 10:00 - 3:00 bring a bag lunch 1 day, meet once. email me to register
1 to 3 day class you will learn to work using your own photograph to create a drawing or painting of your pet. All supplies included. Contact me for dates.
In this 2 day (Springtime) class we will learn how to sketch and paint outside by exploring a variety of subjects. All supplies included $200.00 10:00 - 3:00 bring a bag lunch 2 days, meet once a week. Contact me for dates.
Pastel painting class
Are you interested in art but unable to attend traditional classes. Perhaps you would like guidance and input on the art you are creating at home. Contact me to discover the options available to you. $35.00 per 30 minute session. Weekly, bi-monthly or monthly options.
In this 4 day class we will explore the impressionist painting approach and try techniques used by these artists. We will create several paintings and focus on the works of Claude Monet in particular. All supplies included $350.00 10:00 - 3:00 bring a bag lunch. 4 days, meets once a week. Contact me for dates.
Sgraffito "carving clay" Tile Making
In this 6 day class we will be introduced to the wheel and basics of throwing simple shapes like cups and bowls. We will also design & create a ceramic wall hanging and/or piece of garden art. Oil on panel. Introduction to oils and ongoing in studio instruction to build skills to reach personal goals in oil.
Marker on paper. Focus on illustration techniques and materials. Learn to tell a story without using words. Basic Drawing is a required prerequisite.
Oil on Panel Painting Nature. This Course explores painting natural forms from flowers to landscapes using a selected medium for each class. Weather permitting we will paint outside from life and from still-lives set up in the studio.
